The Childhood Poisonings Surveillance Project was designed to track all poisonings that occur in our community. Parents, caregivers, and medical personnel are encouraged to report any known poisoning of persons ages 0 to 19 years. The information that is gathered will be analyzed to assist us in the allocation of scarce prevention and treatment funds. Prevention programs will be developed based on the incidence of specific poisonings. Physician and parent education will be directed to the most common types and manners of poisonings.

This program cannot succeed without your help! Please assit us by filling out the report form on this website whenever an incident occurs. Check back on a regular basis for new links to reccent reports and for updates using the data collected here. Thank you.
